Safety Eyewear is used to help protect one's eyes when working in certain conditions where debris or substances could come in contact with a person's eyes.
Safety Glasses are the most common type of eyewear used which comes in all type of frames, lens colors and sizes. Glasses can be worn inside or outside as certain lenses are clear for easier indoor use, mirror lenses and colored lenses for outdoor use. Most glasses are made of polycarbonate material that helps insure the glasses meet ANSI Z87.1 which is an impact resistance standard.
Safety Goggles is also another common type of eyewear used which gives the user more protection as very little air or no air at all can come through the goggles to ones eyes. When no air comes through the goggles or vent free, the lenses are usually an Anti-fog type lens so the lenses don't fog up after wearing them
