Barrier Tape is used to block off any given area with certain words printed on the tape such as DANGER TAPE , CAUTION TAPE , DANGER DO NOT ENTER, POLICE LINE DO NOT ENTER, and many others. These messages give people certain information about the area blocked off.

Barrier tape itself is generally made of 100% polyethylene and comes in yellow or red background colors with black printed letters. The thickness of the tape ranges from 1.5 mil thick to 4 mil thick with the current industry standard around 2.5 mils thick. This tape usually comes in rolls of 3" x 1000' feet long.
